"On my US tour with Ninni in Spring 2012 we stopped in Northampton, MA to play a show at the uber stocked Feeding Tube record store. My attention was brought to a weird silkscreened foldout cover, in the 'rare' section. Handwritten artwork said: PLONSKY OP. 30 Hairy Vibe + Double Identity. Tourmate John Schoen pointed at it enthusiastically saying it was "really weird & amazing" & that I HAD to buy it. Poor me could not afford it - remember it was in the rare section, so... I guess I was visibly extremely both attracted & bummed I could not get it but Byron Coley the owner was nice & kind and let me have it for free, I promised I would send him a bunch of new Lps from my label Ultramarine, upon my return to Italy. Long story short, the music onthe LP was a true revelation for me - truly fucked up "opera" of tape manipulated "Gregorian chants" , Casio, gongs & other stuff... really WEIRD... I would like to know more about the guy who made it but have had no success in my searches. Maybe he will find out about this at some point, but most likely he won't. Either way, enjoy & as the front cover of the original Plonsky says... CAUTION: this tape is bugged." -- SK
This set of private press inspired brain brie melters was performed live on an ARP Odyssey synth by the Italian queen of now-noise slash Ultramarine Records head honcho slash the eyeliner abusing half of the post-industrialist duo Control Unit Silvia Kastel and can be found inside a hand-made mini-version of a decayed ex-YU monument - or is it a parody on the Zoviet France cassette output ?
